Tea Party backed GOP nominee for the Delaware Senate seat Christine O’Donnell appeared tonight on Hannity to respond to the personal attacks against her, attacks levied by her detractors, on both sides of the aisle.
The most outlandish attack came from an 11 year old clip of her appearance on Maher’s left-wing love feast known as politically incorrect. In the clip, she mentioned that while in high school, she dated someone who was involved in witchcraft ans she “dabbled in it”.
The fact of the matter is that Christine O’Donnell has been a devout Christian since her early twenties. Let’s hear from Christine in her own words..
Clearly, she had no involvement in witchcraft, other than to date some goth freak who was trying to be rebellious. Most of my friends in high school had Ouija boards so I guess they “dabbled in witchcraft” too. I once attended a séance on Halloween so I guess I dabbled in it too.
Rather than speak to the issues, the left simply attacks their opponent on a personal level. It’s same old strategy they always use when they know they have no answers and can’t win in the marketplace of ideas. I have confidence that the American people, and the voters of Delaware, are just too smart to fall for this tired and desperate political tactic.
Perhaps the media should be looking at her radical Democrat opponent, Chris Coons, who once referred to himself as a “Bearded Marxist“.
“My friends now joke that something about Kenya, maybe the strange diet, or the tropical sun, changed my personality; Africa to them seems a catalytic converter that takes in clean-shaven, clear-thinking Americans and sends back bearded Marxists,” Coons wrote.
Coons hasn’t missed a single opportunity to support the Obama agenda and if elected to the Senate, we can count on him to continue to do so. That’s the real issue here. The voters in Delaware need to keep that in mind while researching both of these candidates.
